The wedding options below represent great value for money. If however you prefer to book the venue only, we can arrange your wedding using this option from only £195.00, or a blessing from only £75.00 in the World Famous Old Blacksmiths Shop.

  • Rekindle the fire by renewing your vows in a truly romantic setting. An Anvil Ceremony may be conducted by the resident ‘Blacksmith’ Guide or alternatively if you prefer a Religious Blessing it is possible to arrange for a minister to conduct your ceremony.

BLACKSMITH'S BLESSING...renew your vows for only £100.00

  • As the blacksmith would use hammer and anvil to join two metals together in the heat of the fire so too he would use hammer and anvil to join a couple together in marriage in the heat of the moment...joined for eternity.
  • The anvil is now legendary. By touching the famous Anvil good fortune in affairs of the heart will be yours...become part of Gretna Green's living history.
  • As part of your vow renewal ceremony you will receive a Gretna Green marriage certificate and your very own lucky anvil. If you wish to take away an instant memory of this special occasion photography can be arranged on the day.
NB. Blessings are conducted by our Blacksmith Guides. Religious Blessings can be arranged with an additional fee for the presence of a Minister. A £50 supplement is charged for Blessings taking place on Valentine's Day, Christmas Eve or Hogmanay. For packages: all prices are per room based on 2 sharing a deluxe double room. Only a certain number of rooms are available on this offer for selected dates, subject to availability. Available on new bookings only. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

The Bridal Car

For packages including bridal car your chauffeur will firstly collect the groom and best man before returning for the bride and her attendants.

Following the ceremony the newlyweds will be taken on a romantic country run to give them time together before they re-join their guests and continue the celebrations.

Your chauffeur will drive you to Smiths where you will alight by the entrance to your private garden adjoining the banqueting suite.
